Chicken Pot Pie is my next entry into my Economical Eats series.
Here's a picture of our dinner tonight:
Chicken Pot Pie
Ingredients:
1 cup OAM Chicken (or boil & shred some)- (My Cost: appx. $1.77)
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup- (My Cost: 25 cents)
1 Bag of Frozen Veggie Mix (My Cost: 28 cents)
1 Can Biscuits (My Cost: FREE)
Instructions:
#1- Preheat Oven to 375 Degrees F
#2- Mix veggies, soup, and chicken into ungrease pie plate
#3- Top with Biscuits (could also use bisquick & egg mixture)
#4- Bake on 375F for 25 minutes (or until biscuits are browned and mixture is bubbly)
Makes 4-5 Servings
Total Cost: $2.30 or Per Serving(4): 58 cents each
