Birthday Bonuses


The pic is of the cake my wonderful mother made me for my 27th birthday. 
On top she put my crazy little puppy! Isn't it cute? It tasted SCRUMPTIOUS!

Most people are glad each birthday comes around, but aren't exactly happy to have aged one more year. Christianbook.com Introduces EBooks!!


Thats right, Christianbook.com has introduced ebooks! Now I can read some of my favorite authors like Lori Wick and Karen Kingsbury on my Nook because the ebooks are available in .epub format. :) Love it! Don't have a device? You can still down load a reader for your PC and read ebooks on your PC. For a limited time, they also have a set of FREE ebooks too! See HERE. One of Ebates weekly deals this week is a Drugstore.com Penny Sale. You can get up to 5 De-Lux products for just ONE CENT EACH!!! Plus you get 6% cashback just for shopping through Ebates. How awesome is that?? I think these would make a great a Christmas present. Just buy a nice basket at the dollar store or a bath carrier from the Target Dollar Spot, and pop in your one cent De-Lux products (regularly around $5 each!) and you have an awesome present on the cheap!


So here's the skinny on how to get them for 99 CENTS total shipped:

Kroger Matchups this week

 I did go shop the Mega Sale at Kroger this week, but I keep forgetting to upload my pic. I will try to remember to do that for ya'll. In the meantime, I figured I would post my favorite matchups of the week. It's been awhile since I've gotten really good deals at Kroger, so thats why I haven't posted lately. Luckily we've been mostly livin' off our stockpile and just buying the basics each week. This week, I got 59 items for $20 before tax. My total coupons and savings were $128!

Let's Talk Christmas

Christmas. It's 8 months away. As a kid that seemed a world away. As an adult not so much. Time just seems to fly. So....instead of waiting this year start thinking about Christmas now.

Here's some of my ideas on how to have less $$ out the door in December. As I find more, I will add more to this post.

#1. Join Swagbucks.
I've earned a little over $10 to Amazon.com using Swagbucks (I started in February). I do a few searches on it per day til I win some swagbucks. Then I click through the no obligation Special Offer section everyday for 2-3 swagbucks. Buy Christmas you should have enough bucks to buy at least one present or more if you participate for just a minute or so daily.

#2. Join MyPoints
I've been a MyPoints member since 2001. Since then, I have earned about $800 or more in Gift Cards to various places I shop. You earn points reading the emails they send, taking surveys, and by going through their website whenever you shop online. We make sure that if we can buy it online then we do rather than buying it in store to maximize our point potential. A lot of places will let you buy online and pick up in store too!
